Hello!
So many fun things happened over the weekend!
It was our first wedding anniversary and also our seven year “together” anniversary.
Since we are still in a pandemic and trying to quarantine when we can, we decided to have a fun day at home. We made it themed based on our honeymoon. We went to Ireland for our honeymoon and it was such an amazing experience, I can’t even begin to describe.
So to start I made us some traditional Irish Coffees. I specifically used the Tullamore DEW recipe because it was my favorite whiskey recipe. Here is how it turned out:

Everytime I had soup for a meal there, they served it with a brown bread. So I thought I would try and re make a version of it. It was very good but obviously it wasn’t exactly the same.

Some other things we did that day was look at our guest book from the wedding, all of the things we kept from Ireland like receipts and tickets and what not, and lastly we went through all of our pictures from the honeymoon and relived what we did each day.
To end the night, I made bangers and mash with a whiskey onion gravy. Fake sausage for me and real sausage for Paul. We watched some HGTV because when we were in Ireland that was our favorite thing to watch in the hotel rooms at night. The Irish version of HGTV shows are way better than our version.

In other news: our home gym is really coming together! In a few days we should be getting a bench, weights, bars and all sorts of fun stuff. I can’t wait to start building more muscle!
I think that’s all for now! Leave in the comments if there is anything new you want to talk about during “Blogmas”!
