Blogmas! Getting Healthy and Honest

Hey guys..

So I’m trying to get really honest about my health and actually try to get into the habit of working out. I really dropped the ball when it came to the ‘Fitness Updates’ I tried to do. If I’m being totally honest, I was not in the right mind set when I was doing them. My mental health was terrible.

So here is a fresh start! We got our home gym almost done and I’m feeling really good!…..at the moment. The holidays always make me feel a little better. Probably because I have things I need to do.

Home Gym Preview!

Sooooo here are my starting stats. Weight and measurements: (I had my period when I did this so my weight and measurements a slightly higher than normal)

Weight: 204lbs (afternoon)

Measurements: Arms-15 inches, Waist-34 inches, Love Handles-41 inches, Hips-46 inches, Thighs-27 inches, Calves-17 inches

I’m not really sure I have a goal yet but with that being said, in a perfect world, I would like to at least lose 50lbs. Honestly I would love to just get fit and just feel good and that doesn’t really matter on how much I weigh. That’s just how I’m feeling at the moment.

I have a workout routine set up! I use Fitness Blender for my home workouts. (Link below!) My goal is to follow the program (I’m doing the FB Strong program at the moment!) and not miss a workout. I’m not really restricting anything that I eat. I make sure that I drink enough water, take my vitamins and also watch my protein intake.

I think that’s everything for now! As a parting gift here is a selfie I took after my first intense workout in a long time.

I moved the program around a little so I didn’t have to workout on Christmas Day 😁
